Skykick Password Reception Process

A successful migration to Office 365 requires source and destination (Office 365) credentials for each user. The migration scenario and how it is configured will determine which of these needs to be provided directly by end users.

Office 365 does not have Directory Synchronization enabled

If Office 365 does not have Directory Synchronization enabled, end-users will start by entering their first and last name.aprp1.png

Source Credentials Required

If source credentials are required from the end-users, each will be asked to provide their current username and password. If source credentials are being obtained through another method (e.g. Source-Side Impersonation (SSI) or OAuth 2.0 (for Google migrations)), end-users will not encounter this page.aprp2.png

O365 Credentials Required

Mailboxes already exist in Office 365

If Office 365 credentials are required, and mailboxes already exist in Office 365, users will be asked to provide their Office 365 password.prp2.jpg

SkyKick automation is creating the Office 365 mailboxes

If Office 365 credentials are required, and SkyKick automation is creating the Office 365 mailboxes, users will be asked to provide a new password for Office 365.prp3.jpg

Personal Information Page (Optional)

End-users can enter information here to populate their Office 365 account.aprp4.png

Completion Page

Once the required credentials are obtained, the user will receive the following message. If the Skykick Outlook Assistant (SKOA) will be installed by end-users, this page will provide the link to download the application. If SKOA is being deployed via Group Policy, the link will not appear.prpskoa.png
